This standard terms and conditions document is prepared in both Korean and English. In case of any conflict or discrepancy between the Korean version and the English version, the Korean version shall prevail.

Article 1 (Purpose)This agreement stipulates the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Hoppers Co., Ltd. (e-commerce operator) operating the hoppin.life cyber mall (hereinafter referred to as the “Mall”) and its users in relation to the use of internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) provided by the Mall.

Note: These terms also apply to e-commerce using PC communication, wireless, or other means, insofar as they do not conflict with the nature of such services.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • “Mall” refers to the virtual business place established by Hoppers Co., Ltd., using information and communication facilities such as computers to transact goods or services (hereinafter referred to as “Goods, etc.”) with users. It also refers to the business entity operating the cyber mall.
  • “User” refers to any individual who accesses the Mall and receives the services provided by the Mall in accordance with these terms, including both members and non-members.
  • “Member” refers to an individual who has registered as a member of the Mall and can continuously use the services provided by the Mall.
  • “Non-member” refers to an individual who uses the services provided by the Mall without registering as a member.

Article 3 (Specification, Explanation, and Amendment of Terms and Conditions)

  • The Mall shall display these terms and conditions, the company name, the name of the representative, the business address (including the address for handling consumer complaints), telephone number, fax number, email address, business registration number, e-commerce license number, and the name of the person in charge of personal information management on the initial service screen (front page) of the hoppin.life cyber mall for users to easily access. The terms may also be made available via a linked screen.
  • Before the user agrees to these terms, the Mall must provide a separate screen or pop-up window for the user to confirm important contents such as withdrawal of subscription, shipping responsibility, and refund conditions.
  • The Mall may amend these terms to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws such as the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Transactions, the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, the Electronic Signature Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Act on Door-to-Door Sales, and the Framework Act on Consumers.
  • When the Mall amends these terms, it shall specify the application date and reason for the amendment and notify users by posting the current and amended terms on the Mall’s initial screen for at least seven days before the application date. For amendments unfavorable to users, the notice period shall be at least 30 days.
  • Amended terms apply only to contracts concluded after the effective date, while contracts concluded earlier remain subject to the pre-amendment terms unless the user consents to the application of the amended terms during the notice period.
  • Matters not specified in these terms and the interpretation thereof shall comply with relevant laws and commercial practices such as the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions.

Article 4 (Provision and Change of Services)

  • The Mall provides the following services:
  • Information on goods or services and the conclusion of purchase contracts.
  • Delivery of goods or services for which purchase contracts have been concluded.
  • Other services defined by the Mall.

The Mall may change the contents of goods or services to be provided under future contracts due to reasons such as out-of-stock items or changes in technical specifications. In such cases, the Mall shall immediately post the updated goods or service details and their effective date at the location where the current contents are displayed.

If the Mall changes the details of services agreed upon with the user due to reasons such as out-of-stock items or changes in technical specifications, the Mall shall promptly notify the user of the reason at the address provided by the user.

In the event of damages caused by changes to the service, the Mall shall compensate users, except where the Mall can prove no intentional or negligent fault.

Article 5 (Service Suspension)

  • The Mall may temporarily suspend service provision due to maintenance, replacement, or breakdown of information and communication facilities such as computers or interruptions in communication.
  • The Mall shall compensate users or third parties for damages resulting from temporary suspension unless the Mall proves no intentional or negligent fault.
  • If the Mall cannot continue providing services due to reasons such as business conversion, cessation, or mergers, the Mall shall notify users as stipulated in Article 8 and compensate users based on previously disclosed terms. If no compensation standards were disclosed, the Mall shall pay users with equivalent value in cash or goods.
